10 Days / 9 Nights – Aberdares / Mount Kenya / Samburu / Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara

Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
Early in the morning after breakfast your tour guide will came at your hotel and have a briefing about the expected safari. You will thereafter been transferred north to Samburu National Reserve and arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Go for an afternoon game drive. You will have a chance of seeing the ''special five'' (the long necked Gerenuk, the Beisa Oryx, the Reticulated Giraffe, Gravy's Zebra and the Somali Ostrich). They are called so because they can only be found in the North of the Equator and in Kenya, they are found in this reserve. The day will end up with hot shower, dinner and overnight at the Samburu Serena Lodge, Samburu Sopa Lodge or Ashnil Camp .

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
Spend the whole day exploring the reserve which is rich in wildlife and birdlife as well. The park is host to Elephants, Lions and other types of wildlife apart from the special five. All meals and overnight will be among the above mentioned accommodation sites.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve - Aberdares National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will have a game drive en-route to Aberdares National Park. Lunch will be at an Aberdare hotel. After lunch, transfer to your tree lodge. You will have flood lit game viewing before retiring to the lodge for hot shower, dinner and overnight at the Ark or Treetops lodge.

Day 4-5: Aberdares National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast at your tree lodge, leave for Nakuru to arrive in time for lunch at your lodge/camp. After an afternoon rest, go for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is famous for the millions of flamingoes in the Lake as well as other wildlife species present in the park. It has earned reputation for being a safe haven for the endangered species particularly the White and Black Rhino, the Rothschild Giraffe, the Lions and other game species. The day end up with a hot shower, meals and overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge, Sarova Lion Hill or Maili Saba Camp.

Day 6-7: Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara Reserve
After breakfast, drive through the Great Rift Valley with breathtaking views to arrive in Masai Mara Reserve in time for lunch. Go for an afternoon game drive. This park is famous for the ''big five'', birdlife and other plains game. You will thereafter been transferred back to the lodge for hot shower, meals and overnight at Mara Serena, Mara Sopa or other designated accommodation.

Day 8-9: Maasai Mara Reserve
Spend the whole day exploring the rich fauna and flora of this park. On this second day, you can have a visit to the Masai Boma and villages or a balloon safari (optional and at an extra cost and should be booked in advance). In the late afternoon you will retire to the designated accommodation for hot shower, dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Maasai Mara Reserve - Nairobi
After breakfast, go for a game drive en-route to Nairobi. Stop over at Narok/Naivasha town for hot lunch in a designated restaurant. You will be arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon although you will have much time to prepare yourself for another transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for connecting with your flight back home.
