Southern end of the park are hot sulphur springs called Maji Moto, further a long the forest opens up into woodlands, grassland, Swamps, and beyond the soda lake itself.
Acacia woodland shelters the park's is famous but intangible tree-climbing lions, squadron of mongooses, Cape buffalo and elephant. Also driving across the valley, one can see giraffes and often a variety of other plain dwellers such as wildebeest, Zebra and Ostrich even before reaching the park.
To do: Game drives, Canoeing when the water levels is sufficiently high. Cultural tours, mountain bike tours, abseiling and forest walks on the escarpment outside the park. |
