BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Virunga Gorilla National Park (Congo) are on the edge of the western rift valley. Both parks are also rich in birds, chimpanzees, monkeys and butterflies. Bwindi is one of the largest natural forests in East Africa, with both montane and lowland forest.
About half of the world's population of mountain gorillas about 350 animals is found in Bwindi. Seven gorilla families are open to visitors in Uganda . Other activities include volcano climbing, guided nature walk in the forest for primates, birds and butterflies or enjoy the breathtaking landscape.
Day 1: Arrive Entebbe airport
You will be met by our representative and get transfer to a designated hotel or lodge in Kampala.
Day 2: Kampala to the Gorilla Park
In the morning after breakfast a gentle drive on the southbound road; passing charming attractions en-route, look at royal drum makers, enjoy the equator, stop at the roadside markets to enjoy some fruit and vegetables. Proceed to Bwindi (or Kisoro for those who wish to track in Bwindi South at Nkuringo. |
