Day 3: Bwindi-Kampala
Embark on a drive back to Kampala after a relaxed breakfast with lunch en route and quick stops in Mbarara and the equator. You will have hot shower, dinner and overnight at a designated hotel/lodge.
Day 4: Fly to Nairobi
Go for a city tour in the morning for some craft shopping and have a good view of Kampala city before you head to Entebbe for your flight to Nairobi. The day will be spent to shop around until late afternoon whereby you will have hot shower, dinner and overnight at the lodge or hotel in Nairobi city.
Day 5: Nairobi-Masai Mara
Depart for a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley, to Masai Mara, Kenya's world legendary game reserve. Make a quick stop at the rift valley for a few photo shots. You will arrive in time for lunch before taking an afternoon game drive and likely you will see the “BIG 5”. In the afternoon you will drive back to the lodge for hot shower, dinner and overnight in a designated accommodation facility.
Day 6: Masai Mara National Park Tour
Today the ball is in your court to either choose a Balloon ride or go for a game viewing drive. Any of the two alternatives may offer you an opportunity to view the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be witnessed from early July to August. Later in the afternoon you will retire to the lodge for hot shower, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Departure Day
Following breakfast, you will be able to enjoy your last scenic view of the rift valley and its features on your way back to Nairobi where the safari ends up. You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and have a rest before been transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for connecting with your international flight back home. |
